Friday saw weakness for the Rand, breaking the R11.00 v $. The Top 40 was basically flat with financials being broadly negative. Rumours persist about SAB and a potential approach by AB Inbev. This morning Heineken rejected an approach by SAB. SAB is up 5% in early trading in London. JSE will have a delayed opening due to technical difficulties.
