The market was dominated by Rand weakness yesterday. It did help the JSE rise 0.87% led mostly by the resource counters and dual listed heavyweights. Naspers outperformed with a gain of 5.4%
Non-farm payroll
US markets were quiet ahead of the non-farm payroll number that will be announced later today.
Expectations
A strong ADP number yesterday suggests that the US market is expecting a strong employment figure.
