The broad based sell-off continued on Friday with the Top 401 losing 2.33%. Mining stocks were hardest hit, Anglogold (-5.5%), Impala Plats and Amplats both down over 4%. The US markets continued their sell-off on Friday ahead of a public holiday in the States today. The selling pressure in the global markets seems to be due to a concern over slowing global growth.
