Morning note

The US posted positive employment data on Friday however the S&P closed 17pts lower.  The Rand remained firm particularly to the GBP at R17.47. On the JSE the banks were the hardest hit, all losing over 2% on the day.  The Market has opened 350 points higher this morning.
